Job Description

Head of Global Delivery & Technology Practice Java/J2ee Technologies & Open source - The position will be responsible for the entire horizontal covering delivery of services, programs, projects, COE initiatives across various Industry verticals, Strategic business units and Customer units.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The role will require the candidate to provide leadership to the Delivery managers / Program Managers / Project Managers in running the delivery and operations and drive the architecture, build, testing, with an aim to meet and excel the customer needs, as well as, internal needs, such as working closely with the Sr. leadership team and achieve operational parameters.
  • Has to work closely & collaborate with, SBU / CU heads / CEMs / Global Account Managers in a collaborative manner to grow the business cutting across various Industry verticals and Strategic Business Units & Customer Units and ensure the delivery function runs successfully as a self-contained Horizontal.
  • The role would also need to closely work with Vertical Heads / SBU / CU heads / CEMs / Global Account Managers in business development, competency building and complete responsibility & ownership for Delivery excellence in the respective Technology practice area.

Job Description

As Chief Information Officer, you'll enjoy full accountability for our business' information technology and systems. You'll be responsible for leading operational planning and implementation of our enterprise systems and for the leadership of a dedicated and experienced IT team.

Reporting to the CFO, this role is a valued member of the Executive Leadership team, participating in strategic and operational governance processes. You'll foster innovation and maintain an IT organizational structure that supports the needs and development of the business, and enhances our client service offering for competitive advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and roll out Long term Functional Capability Plan for IT & ERP across businesses.
  • Driving continuous improvement and implementation of Global Best Practices in IT & ERP
  • Develop Digital strategy and deployment of various digital solutions through effective business partnering
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal
  • Operations and help optimize their strategic benefit
  • Ensure  robust contingency, risk management, and business continuity plans
  • Develop and implement robust IT asset management strategy
  • Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
  • Direct and organize IT-related projects
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage
  • Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions
  • Oversee the relationship with the Outsourced Partner, be responsible for Partner relationship management and partner performance management including Change the Business and Run The Business

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidate should have a high performance track record in career with around 20 years of experience (Preferably in Infrastructure Industry). The candidate should have the experience in rolling out and implementing ERP and should possess the knowledge of all aspects of business process management including Infrastructure, Outsourcing, Application Development implementation / training / integration to improve business performance. The candidate should also have the gravitas, stature and maturity to motivate, provide direction to and lead a high performing, very well qualified team of senior professionals.
